Post... More Professional Fam?

So... apparently according to my family my post was unprofessional. Well fam it's deleted. No worries. If you did read my last post you all know that I am job hunting right now. I have been working for Vans for a year and a half and most people are jealous and tell me I have the best/coolest job ever! However, they don't know the behind the scene stuff all they know is I work for a bad A company; which I do.
I have had two interviews with the new store manager for the Zumiez at University Mall for his second assistant, will be having my third interview at Vanity for an assistant position tomorrow, and had an interview for Comptoday this afternoon. All three are fantastic companies. They are all just so different. Two are full time, Two are for an assistant manager, One is a skate shop, One is a billing company, One is girlie fashion. I don't know what to pick. I find out at the beginning of next week about all of them whether I got the job or not which means I may either be turned down by all, accepted by some and have to turn down others, or accepted by one. I don't know which and I don't know which job I am supposed to choose or which one will give me more pay and benefits.
One is in West Valley, One is in Orem, One is in Murray. Which means for one of them I'd have to leave my apartment and move, and the other two stay here. However, I don't know if moving is a good thing, I feel like it might be but I just don't know! I'm so confused and just keep praying I will know what to do...
Please pray for me all.... I need the help and guidance... I pray nonstop about this; it's stressing me out...

Change

It's been awhile since I have blogged... However, TONS has changed in this girl's life!

First off: I was transferred Vans to the one at Fashion Place Mall for management
Second off: I moved to Cottonwood Heights with 2 of my closest girl friends.
Third off: My dog Pixie passed away :(
Fourth off: My sister, Chablis, my 2 nieces, Gracie and Lydia, and my nephew, Henry and for a short time my sister, Gentri, have all left me to go to Alaska.
Fifth off: Putt Putt aka my car passed away
Sixth off: I got a new car, its a scion xB her name is Lola

 However, that's all in my life, i love it and it's fun and crazy! those are about the only things in my life right now... all i do is work i have sold my soul to that bloody company hahaha.

Viva Las Vegas/St. Geezy/Moab

Lately I have been on SO MANY ADVENTURES!! First, I went to Las Vegas and St. George and Sand Hollow with my two best friends Erica and Whitney, and we played with my friend Ty and Erica's friend Andrew and Whitney's boy Steven! It was so much fun!!!

But Oh! The adventures continued! My family and I went to Moab shortly after!

Well, There ya have it! This has been my summer thus far!

The Past 2 Months of Neglect to the Things That Matter

So.... It's been about 2 months since my last blog... I'm really sorry about that... I had some distractions and it just kinda distracted me from everything that is important to me. Update on the past two months, (and p.s. I will do a blog post soon with pictures and videos from the past two months) I met a kid, we started dating but dating other people too, I was completely twitterpated by him. And for the past month or so he was every second of everyday, and my family can vouch for that. I spent every second trying to make him happy which in the end made me start to neglect my old friends, my family, my missionary, my best friend Skyler on a mission, my church responsibilities, my work responsibilities, and the responsibilities I have to myself. Ya, he made me really happy, but he wasn't mine. He did what he told me he was going to do, date a lot. And in doing that he started dating a girl a lot. And he cares a lot about her now and he began caring more about the other girls than me. I, still, am really struggling with it and so broken, but I'm letting go because it's what I have to do for me, I need to be smart for the first time in awhile and let go and move on for my sake. So in turn with letting go I'm fixing everything I've done wrong lately. I'm gonna spend time with the friends I have neglected, I'm gonna continue management training at work, I'm gonna pay more attention to my missionary like I should be doing, I'm gonna write my best friend like I should have been doing, I'm going to be a better aunt to my nieces and nephew, I'm gonna be a better sister to my sisters, I'm going to be a better daughter to my parents, be better in my church calling, and I'm going to date as much as I can and try not to attach myself to anyone so that I can live and not get hurt.
This is my goal and my goal involves letting go of someone I care a lot about. But it is a responsibility I have to myself to make me happy again... Wish me luck... I'll need it.

Job...?

So, as many of you know I am currently working as a sales associate at Vans, and a food prep person at Cafe Zupas. Well, I have a story before I get into this: Sunday night Whitney and I were at her aunt Jackie's apartment waiting for Whit's mom to come get her. Jackie is a strong reader of horoscopes, I however, am not. But Jackie swore by this one website's horoscopes so Whit and I read ours.
Whitney has a hard time with her tennis team, and this week her whole team is going to Cali, well hers was dead on with how the people she has to be around treats her and how she's just gonna show them all up!
Then I read mine, at first I didn't think much of it, but now... dang! My horoscope for the week said that this is a really smart week to think about my career and the work I am currently doing.

I will probably be quitting one of my jobs soon because they're just not too willing to work together. However, there's a chance I'll be quitting both I'll tell you why. I found a bunch of Special Ed schools in Utah and Salt Lake counties. One of which is in Provo and they are going to be looking for people to hire soon! They are going to send me an application through E-mail then I go down turn it in and talk to them!!! I have a good shot because my major is SPED, I have already done an internship with it, I've been working in Special Ed for five years, and I've had one year of sign language! HOLY ONE STEP AHEAD!!!!

So, I'm really praying hard that I can land this or another job at one of the other schools! Please pray for me!!! I'd be so so so happy if I got this job!!!

Uh... Shoot...

So, as you all know I may be moving to Florida with my sister, Gentri, and some friends to work for disney... Well... Now I have another person's opinion in the decision making. I asked my mish aka Gavin, what he thought about me moving. And... Well... He said no. He said it's not a good idea and that he doesn't want me to go. Crap! His opinion means the WORLD to me, but I really wanna go...
Looks like these next few months will be really interesting. Most likely if things work out with this boy I'll be staying in Utah.

Plans that I have not even thought about...

Every girl I know pretty much has their whole wedding planned. What they want their colors to be, what their wedding dress will look like, the flowers, the everything! I however, do not. And with all these weddings going on in my life it's been making me think of what I want my wedding to be like. Aw man I don't even know! The ONLY thing i know how I want is my bridesmaids dresses! I want them to be black tutu like dresses something that's a cross between:

So with the combination of these three types of dresses; my bridesmaids will be wearing Vans which would be my wedding's colors. Those colors are still unknown... haha.
Gentri, my sister, has called that at her wedding our neices, Gracie and Lydia, will be wearing tutu skirts... BUT! I have found dresses that if I can get them to cover a little bit more I want them to be in:



O man O man those girls will be so cute! As for everything else in my wedding I have not the slightest clue! I am pretty sure I want my dress to be ivory... but I don't know! Good thing I am not engaged or even have a boyfriend to stress about becoming engaged to plan a wedding any time soon! Phew! Chablis, Michelle, and Gentri I'm going to need your help with my wedding when the time comes... Deal?

Knee...

So, the summer before my Senior year of High School, so almost 2 years ago, I had a knee injury, didn't know what I had done to it all I knew was that my knee hurt really badly. Well, back in like November-ish I went to my doctor and said, "Doctor, my knee still hurts! What is wrong?" and he said, "Kenna, let's x-ray your knee!" so, we did an x-ray and nothing was wrong with the bones. "Kenna, let's have you get an MRI!" said Doctor. So, I went and got an MRI done and then Doctor said to me, "Kenna, you have a signal in your meniscus which means it's not completely torn but it's definately damaged. Let's give you a cortizone shot and see if that fixes it, if not we'll do surgery." Doctor gave me a cortizone shot which hurt worse than ANYTHING I had ever felt in my life... It hurt like a couple words that I do not approve of myself... Well, it's been about a month since my shot and my knee is only getting worse. And since I go country dancing every week and party it up all the time, it's not really helping. So Doctor called me and said, "Kenna, we need to do surgery considering your knee still hurts." Yay me! I get to have a knee scope on my knee. Here I'll show you a picture of what's going on inside of my knee:

This is the damaged part of the meniscus. The string-like object running across the middle of the picture is a piece of meniscus that had torn loose and would float around and get caught in the knee joint, causing it to lock up.

Where the silver pointer is pointing is where the torn meniscus is just kinda floating around. YAY me!! I have a messed knee!
OO and the best part is, is what I get to go into! Here look at what's gonna go down:

They go into my knee and then to take the torn part of my meniscus:

Doctor grabs the torn meniscus and then shaves the lumpy edge off to smooth it out, washes the debry out with some sterile crapola, then stitches the two sides of my meniscus together!

Well... this is gonna be an adventure... for recovery I'll be on cruthces, some people only need them for a day or two, but sometimes patients are not allowed to put weight on their foot for 6 weeks! Wow, really!?!?!? Aw man... Well, wish me luck!

CRIMSON NIGHT!!!

So, the University of Utah has these nights called Crimson Night... Can you say BEST NIGHT EVER?!? O my goodness I had so much fun! There was a dance party, mechanical bull, photobooth, hena tatoos, bowling alleys, guitar hero, bobble head music videos, free food everywhere, fondu, break dance room, latin dancing, a VIP room, and TONS AND TONS of people! I danced all night long!!
They played my favorite hip hop/r&b songs such as:

I must say it is the most awkward dance move, but so fun, and THE BIGGEST WORK OUT EVER!
During the dance some of the Gamma girls and I took some hilarious pics and we went into the photo booth and let me tell ya, we are funny people! I'll show ya:
